Darts Season

Well we have played two practice sessions as a darts team, the East Enders, and we have won both. As the coach said on Major League " I think the side is coming together Arty" , not that you my readers are Arty but you get my drift. However we have to do something about getting Ant and Martin to enter into the spirit of things and have a couple of Pale Ales, because even if you lose it's better not to do it sober! But that will develop when someone buys them a beer! Don was in top form last week but fell away this week under the combined weight of 3 pale ales in an hour and a vastly better opponent. It makes a difference when his wife is not there. It makes no difference to my form whether Nuran is there to drive us home or not but then I have been playing darts for longer than Don. But Ralph is a star recruit and knocked off the opponents best player in the singles. He doesn't drink Pale Ales but Carlton Draught apparently helps his form. Ah yes we have a team..... let the season begin!
