Missing Him

It's strange ain't it that even something or someone that is a pain in the arse when here, you miss when they go away.
So Banjo and I are having a commiserating drink on the back verandah listening to Vega. Apparently it will be a completely shit day tomorrow and Banjo and I won't be able to cycle to Nangwarry so both our routines will be broken. So for now we will toast absent friends and hope that Buddha will find a tasty butterfly to chew!
This remnant of a tropical cyclone that is floating over us has brought an unusually mild night for April so here's cheers and up your bum with rum.... beer is better!

Doggone

Buddha the bad has found a new home in Mount Gambier.
I delivered him to Ralph Patzel in the Mount , whose contacts are many, and there was a new owner waiting for him. So Buddha the idle and autistic Kelpie has found new butterflies to chase and gardens to dig while Banjo has to come to terms with being the only dog in the doghouse.
Banjo was given a shampoo today and dried off by chasing and fetching a ball without Buddha getting in the way. He will soon get used to being the top dog I hope. The idea of two dogs was no good and Len , next door, reckons if you have two dogs you end up with only half a dog as they pay attention to each other instead of you. Probably right. Well we have ended up with twice the dog food in the fridge!Banjo
